Offshore CCU Safety
Confidence Under Pressure Starts in VR
Out on the quay or offshore, CCU handling is never “just routine.” Every lift, every connection, every decision carries weight, for the cargo, the operation, and the people around it. We wanted a way to train for that reality with the same seriousness, but without the risk.
Realistic offshore cargo scenarios
In this experience, trainees step into realistic offshore cargo scenarios and work hands-on with Cargo Carrying Units, containers, tanks, and baskets that are part of everyday logistics. They move through the full flow of an operation, checking the unit, reading the signs, spotting what doesn’t look right, securing loads, coordinating with others, and feeling the pressure of getting it right. Not in a classroom. Not on paper. But inside a world that behaves like the one they work in.
Real-World Readiness, Without Real-World Risk
VR lets them train for the moments that matter most, the ones you can’t safely “practice” in real life. It builds awareness, muscle memory, and calm under stress. So when the wind picks up, the deck is moving, and the lift is happening for real, they’ve already been there, and they know what good looks like.
